1. Who we are
DreamersHood is operated by JGMN Pvt Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). For India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, JGMN Pvt Ltd is the data fiduciary for personal data processed through this website.
Registered / office address: JUGNU, JGMN Pvt Ltd, above Bharat Petroleum, adjoining Namastasya Hotel, Lawi Khurd, Dolan, Himachal Pradesh, India.
Privacy and grievance contact: arshit@dreamershood.in. Instagram: @dreamershood.
2. Personal data we collect
We only collect what we need to sign you in and fulfil a booking. We do not ask for your home address, and we do not take payment card numbers ourselves.
You give us directly:
- Full name — required when you create an account.
- Email address (Gmail or any inbox) — required to send a one-time sign-in code and to deliver your ticket.
- Phone number — required when you create an account, so we can reach you about that booking.
We also keep records created when you use the site:
- Booking details: event, quantity, ticket code, booking status, and time of booking.
- For paid events: Razorpay order and payment reference IDs. Card, UPI, and other payment secrets stay with Razorpay.
- A signed-in session cookie so you stay logged in. One-time codes are stored only as a hash — we never keep the plaintext code.
Name, email, and phone are required to create an account and book. Without them we cannot send your code, confirm your ticket, or contact you if the night changes.
3. Why we use your data
Each use is tied to a specific purpose:
- Account and sign-in — email and the one-time code, so you can access My Tickets without a password (contract / to provide the service).
- Ticket booking — name, email, phone, and booking records, so we can confirm your spot and email the ticket, venue address, and map link (contract).
- Paid tickets — name, email, and phone are prefilled in Razorpay Checkout so you can complete payment (contract).
- Event updates — email or phone if a show is moved, cancelled, or the door details change (contract / legitimate use to run the event).
- Door check-in — organisers may look up a ticket code and see the booker’s name (contract).
- Security and abuse prevention — hashed codes, session tokens, and basic request data (legitimate use).
- Legal and tax records — paid booking references we must keep under Indian law.
We do not use your email or phone for newsletters, partner offers, or ads unless you later give separate consent. Booking messages are transactional, not marketing.
4. Confidentiality of your email and phone
Your email (including Gmail) and phone number are treated as confidential contact details. We collect them only so we can identify you, send the one-time sign-in code, deliver your ticket, and reach you about that booking.
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your email or phone number.
- We do not publish them on the public event page, in the gallery, or on social media.
- We do not share them with other attendees, artists, or advertisers.
- Staff and door volunteers only see what they need to validate a ticket (typically your name and ticket code), not a public list of every guest’s inbox or number.
- We will not use these details for unrelated marketing.
If someone else typed your email by mistake, the one-time code still goes only to that inbox. You can ignore it; we will not treat that address as an account until the code is used.
5. Who we share data with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with processors who help us run the service, and only for the purposes above:
- Razorpay — processes paid tickets. We send your name, email, and phone as checkout prefill. Razorpay handles the payment method. We store order and payment IDs, not card numbers.
- Gmail (Google) SMTP — sends one-time codes and ticket emails to the address you gave us.
- Convex — hosts our application database and backend in the cloud.
- DreamersHood admins / organisers — can look up a ticket to confirm entry and may see the booker’s name.
Some of these providers may store or process data on servers outside India. We share only what is needed for that task. We may also disclose information if Indian law, a court, or a lawful government request requires it.
6. We do not sell your contact details
We do not sell, share for advertising, or otherwise commercialise your name, email, or phone number. There is no “sale” or cross-context ad sharing of attendee contacts on this site.
7. How long we keep it
- Account (name, email, phone) — while your account is active. After a deletion request we remove it unless a legal duty requires a longer hold.
- Tickets and booking records — for the life of the account and as needed to show your past nights; paid transaction references may be kept up to 8 years for tax and accounting rules in India.
- One-time codes — only until they expire (about 10 minutes), stored as a hash.
- Sessions — until you sign out or the session expires.
8. Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct name, email, or phone if it is wrong.
- Ask us to erase data that is no longer needed for a booking or a legal duty.
- Withdraw consent where processing was based on consent. Withdrawal does not undo a ticket already issued; we may still keep records we must keep by law.
- Nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf if you cannot.
- Lodge a grievance with us, and if it is not resolved, complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Email arshit@dreamershood.in from the address on your account. We will verify it is you before we change or delete anything. We aim to acknowledge within 7 days and respond within 30 days.
9. How we protect it
- One-time codes and session tokens are stored as hashes, not as readable secrets.
- We do not store payment card numbers, CVV, or UPI PINs.
- Access to booking records is limited to signed-in users (their own tickets) and authorised admins.
- Venue addresses and map links are shown on your confirmed ticket, not on the public event listing.
No internet service is perfectly secure. Please keep your email inbox secure — that is how someone would take over your DreamersHood session.
10. Children
DreamersHood is meant for people who can enter a contract. If you book for a minor, you must be 18 or the age of majority where you live, and you are responsible for the information you submit. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe we have, write to us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be emailed to the address on your account. Continued use after an update means you have read the new notice.
